房新文总领事出席《和平与纪念之声：80年回响》音乐会（组图）

8月28日，房新文总领事出席沈阳音乐学院在墨尔本演奏中心举行的纪念中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利80周年《和平与纪念之声：80年回响》音乐会。辽宁省副省长单义、维州前上议长阿特金森、墨尔本大学音乐学院院长理查德克斯以及我馆刘东源副总领事等出席。

这次演出既有《松花江上》《黄河颂》等经典抗战作品，也有《红高粱》《中国之梦》等展现中国文化特色与时代精神的优秀曲目，用音乐致敬历史、呼唤和平，博得现场观众阵阵掌声。

Consul General Fang Xinwen Attends the Concert “Voices of Peace and Remembrance: 80 Years On”

On August 28, Consul General Fang Xinwen attended the concert “Voices of Peace and Remembrance: 80 Years On”, held by the Shenyang Conservatory of Music at the Melbourne Recital Centre to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

Also present were Vice Governor of Liaoning Province Shan Yi, former President of the Victorian Legislative Council Bruce Atkinson, Director of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music Richard Kurth, Deputy Consul General Liu Dongyuan and other guests.

The concert featured classic anti-war works such as On the Songhua River and Ode to the Yellow River, as well as outstanding pieces including Red Sorghum and Chinese Dream that highlight Chinese cultural characteristics and the spirit of the times. Through music, the performance paid tribute to history and voiced a call for peace, earning repeated rounds of applause from the audience.
