Yogurberry is one of Australia's leading frozen yogurt franchise brands, operating more than 30 stores across NSW, with plans for continued interstate expansion.
As a franchisor, we manage store development, design compliance, construction coordination, and ongoing support for our franchise network. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized in house Store Design Coordinator to take ownership of store design, approval submissions, and project coordination across our growing network.

Your Role as a in-house Interior Designer:
Reporting directly to the Managers and Director, you will be responsible for managing the design and approval process for new stores, refurbishments and relocations.
You will act as the key point of contact between franchisees, shopping centres, certifiers, consultants, builders, and landlords to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and compliantly.
Job Description:
- Prepare and coordinate design documentation for new stores and refurbishments.
- Manage CDC, OC and/or OC/DA processes where required.
- Coordinate landlord/shopping centre and certifier's approval.
- Liaise with private certifiers, engineers, consultants, builders, and local councils if necessary.
- Prepare all design documentation including: layouts, CAD drawings, construction and renders.
- Manage project timelines and approval milestones.
- Conduct site inspections, measure-ups, and occasional long distance travel when required.
- Assist with store handovers and practical completion inspections.
- Maintain design standards and ensure consistency across the Franchise network.
- Keep records of approvals, certificates, drawings, and project documentation.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience in interior drafting, retail design, store development, or project coordination.
- Strong understanding of Australian standard and approval pathways.
- Demonstrated experience preparing and managing CDC, DA, CC, and landlord submissions.
- Proficiency in any CAD program is essential.
- Experience with SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills in English and attention to detail.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
